National Zoo & Aquarium in Australia Offers “Snow Trips for Snow Leopards”
The National Zoo and Aquarium in Canberra, Australia, has organized a unique fundraiser to help snow leopards. Day trips and overnight trips to Australian ski resorts can be purchased through the zoo, and the proceeds will benefit the Trust. In a publicity stunt to raise awareness of the fundraiser, an Australian ski resort recently transported 14 tons of snow to the zoo to make a winter wonderland for the snow leopards living there.

I saw the Snow Leopards the day after the delivery of the snow from the Snowy Mountains. It was fantastic!!!! The cats loved it. Hopefully they do it again next year because I want to be there when they let them out. Good to see Snow Leopards in snow, if only it was in the wild.
